Job Description
- Perform dooropening tasks such as clearing the table polishing glasses folding napkins and rearranging condiments.
- Attend general and preshift meetings to update knowledge on special offers and inventory issues and discuss service and product issues.
- Assist managers and hosts with meeting greeting and seating guests and providing food and wine menus.
- Introduce yourself to customers and inform them of special offers and outofstock items before they choose menu items.
- Ensure drinks are served promptly and replenished continuously. Ensure accuracy when entering orders into the point of sale (POS) system.
- Track food and drink orders at home (BOH).
- Evaluate customers to determine their level of satisfaction with the product and overall experience and provide feedback to management.
- Deliver checks to customers upon request and greet and thank them sincerely upon departure.
- Perform closing duties such as sweeping and vacuuming and prepare laundry for the laundry service to pick up.
Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience working in a highend or largescale restaurant.
- Complete product knowledge training and written and spoken exams.
- Know how to maintain a solid customer base.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional personal communication skills. Clean professional appearance.
- Available to work in shifts extended hours weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit agile and dexterous.
- The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Excellent time management skills.
