Bachelors degree in marketing business administration health care or related area required. Masters degree desirable.
Seven years of progressively responsible experience in marketing communications web development and project management.
Minimum of two years experience managing website content.
Knowledge of content management systems HTML and basic Photoshop skills.
Healthcare experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Interpersonal and management skills to achieve desired goals and communicate effectively with clinical and administrative leaders and staff. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
Ability to think strategically and creatively with respect to the marketing process and its application to the web and interactive media.
Excellent verbal and written communication necessary for professional communications departmental representation and related activities.
Ability to interact effectively in a complex organization. Must be able to establish excellent working relationships with individuals and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise.
Highly motivated independent and capable of performing in a highpressure fastpaced environment.
Some experience in graphic design helpful.
Resourceful and able to manage multiple tasks.
GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Join a motivated web team and help advance the awardwinning and highly visited site of a leading academic medical center. Consistently rated as one of the top ten hospitals in America by U.S. News and World Report Brigham and Womens Hospital seeks a web project manager for its extensive site. Working with members of the web team and other staff the web project manager will contribute toward making the site a valuable resource for current and prospective patients.
The web project manager will be responsible for web and interactive media projects that support the marketing efforts of Brigham and Womens Hospital. In consultation with the web marketing manager he or she will be accountable for managing and executing projects on time and on budget with appropriate members of the Marketing staff and clinical departments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
On an ongoing basis plans develops and executes assigned projects.
Manages internal and external partners to implement strategic online marketing programs.
Schedules web and multimedia work with various web team members. Tracks project deadlines and other vital project information.
Works with hospital departments to organize content for new and existing sites ensuring that content meets Marketing Department standards.
Reviews proposed web site content to ensure that it meets department standards and resolves issues prior to submitting for production.
Contributes to establishing procedures workflow and guidelines to update/maintain web content to ensure accuracy and usefulness.
Quality checks web pages before final posting.
