Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator 3
Location:Tumwater WA

This recruitment is for one 1 fulltime permanentConstruction Project Coordinator 3position for Parks Development located in Tumwater Washington. Working hours are generally Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm or flextime as agreed by the supervisor.This position requires you to travel up to 20 as needed to accomplish assignments occasional overnight travel maybe required. The work environment is 85 inside and 15 outside but may vary upon tasks assigned. Field work may include rough terrain and enclosed spaces.

As a construction project coordinator your primary responsibilities include managing consultants through the design and construction phases of capital improvement projects. This critical role requires an experienced construction project coordinator with good communication skills and a working knowledge of the theories principles and practices of architectural & engineering design project management ADA construction compliance and construction for projects ranging from $250000 to $5000000. Our ideal candidate has an eye for detail and a heart for public service.

About the position:

This position reports to the Construction Project Coordinator 4 in the facilities management Team and directly supports the mission by providing project management services for facilities and capital projects (ADA). In this role you will coordinate direct and review the development of contract documents reports and studies by Architecture and Engineering (A&E) firms for park construction projects including ADA improvements. Provide construction management services and manage A&E construction management services for park construction projects. Develop cost estimates and constant analysis required for capital budget development and project costs.

*Additional qualifying experience may substitute for yearforyear for education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A professional license/certification in engineering architecture landscape architecture or construction management.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Asset Management and ArcGIS.
  • Knowledge of state government and Parks rules and regulations.
