Job Description
Our charity shops play a crucial role in raising funds to help us deliver care and to support local people. We are currently seeking a Shop Assistant to join our Stoke Shop team You will work alongside the Manager Deputy Manager Supervisors and our numerous Volunteers.
Customer Service experience is essential within our local community environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our shops daily operations you will have the skills to help generate the money needed for the hospice to support out local people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high standards are maintained
- Assist in sorting pricing and displaying donations to maximize sales
- Handle transactions and operate the till confidently and accurately
About You
Were looking for someone with a flexible approach a cando attitude and a willingness to get involved. No two days are the same so adaptability and positivity are key! Youll also need:
- An awareness of price value and worth of items
- A customerfocused approach and strong communication skills
- Creativity and commercial awareness with visual merchandising skills
- Experience in working towards targets

Hours:40 hours a week 5 out of 6 days a week) Closed on Sundays.
Salary:25466 FTE per annum
The role will require a DBS check which would be processed and paid for by the Hospice.
