Position Overview At Kents Hill School Department Chairs are the academic leaders of their discipline. As a member of the Academic Committee the Mathematics Department Chair is responsible for advocating for the unique aspects of their program while also imagining how mathematics education fits into the overall academic framework of the School. The Department Chair is a master teacher with the ability to teach throughout the curriculum while leading and collaboratively developing individual growth plans for each member of their team.
