To support our IT strategy we are looking for a new colleague to join for our Core IT Infrastructure and Security Team.

Your role as IT Datacenter Engineer
While working at this role you will be responsible for:
- vSphere products deployments maintenance and troubleshooting
- Server / Storage / Datacenter deployments maintenance and troubleshooting
- 3rdlevel support (handle issues and manage problems
More specifically your role will be connected with maintenance and operation of the ALK IT infrastructure concerning:
- Conduct changes and documentation on the infrastructure
- Prepare install retire and general manage troubleshoot and document handling of servers
- Participate in VMWare and any IT Infrastructure related projects
- Troubleshooting of infrastructure alerts
- Support the integration of new technologies into the infrastructure according to the Enterprise Architecture Program Charter
- Documentation of own area and praxis
- Reporting on relevant KPIs
- Comply with GxP & FDA 21 CFR part 11
Your qualifications
As a candidate for the role you have:
- University Master Degree or equivalent
- IT Datacenter Engineer with 35 years of experience
- At least 35 years of experience working with VMwarerelated roles
- Experience working with a virtual server environment
- Capable of understanding and performing monitoring and handling issues identified through monitoring
- Experienced in installation of hardware and software on servers and ESXi hosts
- Proactive analytical and capable of taking responsibility
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of GxP environments is preferred.
