*This is a parttime position 20 hours per week
Title: PartTime Language Assessor
Location: 77 Webster Ave
Reports To: Alberto Carrero MLE Director

Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the ELL Coordinator to administer language assessments for the district.
- Communicate the role of the ELL program to students and their families as well as support the intake process for schools.
Qualifications:
- DESE licensed ESL/ELL teacher multilingual with experience in language acquisition;
- Proficiency in an additional language preferred;
- U.S. citizen or work permit required.
Terms:
This is a nonunionposition. The work day is19 hours of a regular school hours based on student registration needs schedule to be determined with Supervisor. Peak times are in the summer from July September. Nonlicensed teacher $30.00/hr.; Licensed teachers $35/hr. This position is contingent on funding approval.
