Job Description

As an Electrical Fitter you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergys Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.

Key responsibilities:

  • Distribution asset construction and maintenance including cable termination mini pillar maintenance and switchgear maintenance
  • Fault response and fault rectification works
  • The installation of services from Evoenergy distribution network to customers premises
  • Connection and disconnection of supply including nonpayment of account disconnections
  • Participate in oncall & shiftwork rosters as necessary based on Evoenergy policy.
  • Customer quality of supply investigations and electrical infrastructure testing

Our ideal candidate:

  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community championing a safe inclusive and respectful environment
  • Minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician.
  • Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • High risk license EWP
  • OH&S General Induction Card
  • Asbestos Awareness training
  • Hold a current ACT motor vehicle licence or its acceptable equivalent.
