Job Description

Position Summary:

Generate and acquire new business with new accounts and selected existing accounts. Provide support to the regional and global sales teams worldwide in expanding sales of Arvato in Europe and USA in the IT HiTech and Consumer Electronics industry; focus on value added logistics warehousing retail distribution and endtoend supply chain solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business in target markets with primary focus on value added logistics warehousing retail distribution and endtoend supply chain solutions.
  • Work with Business Development Marketing Solution Design and Logistics Engineering on creation of competitive concept proposals and develop new service offerings based on detailed and documented insight of market and client needs.
  • Manage and maintain a structured analysis of target markets & clients and documentation in CRM system. Particularly for selected large target accounts manage and maintain detailed global account plans and coordinate international sales activities (between EU US AP)
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to the Global and Regional teams on market & industry developments and competitors developments
  • Identify analyze and compare alternative opportunities for entering new markets and adopting new technologies and present feasibility plans to the VP Global Business Development and Management.

Business Expertise:

Indepth understanding of logistics warehousing fulfillment and ordertocash supply chain management. Detailed knowledge of the target industries (IT HiTech and Consumer Electronics) and according active network to key decision makers. 10 years of experience and proven track record in sales & business development achievements in similar roles.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Highly selfmotivated and successdriven professional with 10years of experience in solution selling & new business development (logistics / supply chain management)
  • Very good understanding or logistics requirements and logistics solutions incl. warehouse design and according commercial experiences
  • Experience with working in multicultural teams and willingness to constantly learn
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with both internal and external customers
  • At least Bachelor degree level preferable Master level. Specialized qualifications in SCM related disciplines will be advantageous

Travel Requirements:

  • Willing to travel >50 of time regionally and internationally
