Job Description
TITLE: Career and Tech. HVACR/PlumbingInstructor Anticipated Opening
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month
REPORTS TO: Career & Tech Building Principal
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: Provide training to juniors and seniors with classroom instruction projectbased learning and handson skills that would prepare students to be college and careerready in electrical trades.
- Communicate with parents teachers school counselors and others involved inthe students education.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and work sites
- Monitor students academic progress including but not limited to progress/marking period grades attendance handson performance skills
- Implement 504 plans and IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
- Keep current with changes and developments inelectrical industries
- Other responsibilities as determined by the CTE Principal
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 35 years experience in HVACR/Plumbing trades (commercial residential).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Have or be eligible for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration 712 Career & Technical Education certification.
