Job Description

Position- Middle School Science Teacher

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of Bachelors degree in education from an accredited college or university.
  • A current and valid PA Biology 7-12 or Chemistry 7 -12 Teaching Certificate through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • Additional Secondary Science Certifications Preferred.

Other Information

  • Reports to: Building Principal
  • Terms of Employment: Days of service length of day salaries and benefits as outlined in current collective bargaining agreement.

Summary Purpose of Positions

To plan organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that promotes student learning of concepts and skills; guides and encourages students to grow and develop; and facilitates the vision that every child will be prepared individually to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
