Customer Service Optician needed
Would you love to solve problems to help people live better lives Our team needs a driven and dedicated professional to help our patients leave our office looking stylish in their perfect new pair of glasses. Youll be helping our patients choose the right glasses for them based on their personal style lifestyle needs prescription and more. This is not just some sales job your role is to be an educator and a style consultant. This is a fulltime position offering the stability of a career in healthcare where your BRILLIANT personality can shine!
NO Experience Needed:
Prior medical office or eyecare experience is a plus but its certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude a helpful heart and a love of learning!
Some of your duties:
Helping people pick out frames that suit them based on the shape of their face bridge fit lifestyle and prescription
Determining the best lens types materials coatings and brands for patients lifestyles. For example a kid who plays basketball will need something different from someone who works on a computer all day.
Educating our patients existing and firsttimers on proper hygiene and care routines for their eyes glasses and contacts
Troubleshooting prescription issues taking accurate measurements for all lens styles and prescriptions checking new glasses for fit and making adjustments
Using our stateoftheart lens edger to shape prescription lenses and inserting them into frames and miscellaneous repairs
Billing insurance educating patients on what their insurance covers accepting/submitting payments assisting patients with payment questions and reviewing package options
Consistent crosstraining for optimal career growth offered and expected
Keeping the optical space looking clean neat and welcoming; doing inventory; ordering sending and receiving shipments
