Job Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 23 years of handson experience in manual testing API testing and testing of web applications and windows services. The role demands proficiency in SQL test script creation and a solid understanding of testing web services. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications while ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing of web applications and services to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Perform API testing to validate the functionality of web and windows services.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and backend processes.
- Develop test scripts and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform thorough testing on Windows services ensuring compatibility and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide testing feedback.
- Document and report bugs issues and potential risks during the testing process.
- Participate in meetings to provide feedback and contribute to project timelines.
- Assist in the learning and adoption of automation testing tools and practices.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies tools and processes for better efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 25 years of experience in manual testing and related QA activities.
- Testing: Strong knowledge of web application testing API testing and Windows services testing.
- SQL: Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data and backend systems.
- Test Script: Experience in creating and executing test scripts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on identifying issues and maintaining product quality.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Postman JMeter).
- Familiarity with agile development processes.
