Job Description
Summary:
This diagnostician is a dynamic member of the special education department supporting multidisciplinary teams in a variety of special education functions including eligibility service delivery and instructional support processes.
Essential Functions/Typical Tasks:
- Conduct educational evaluation components in accordance with eligibility requirements and statemandated special education timelines.
- Analyze assessment data prepare comprehensive reports and present findings as a member of eligibility committees.
- Collaborate with the evaluation team school staff and families to develop a comprehensive overview of student needs.
- Coordinate with school staff and families to meet the needs of students with disabilities based upon evaluation results and disability impact.
- Coordinate specialized programming including but not limited to homebound services.
- Other duties may be assigned through the immediate supervisor.
Certifications Licenses Registrations:
Special Education licensure required; Educational Diagnostician certification or related Masters degree preferred.
Salary:
Rangebased on theTeacher Salary Scale is $with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. An additional administrative stipend is also available in the amount of $4740.
