Description

Job Title: QA Technician/CMM Programmer/Operator

Location: Brampton ON (OnSite)

Shift: 11:00AM 7:30PM

Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring product quality and supporting crossfunctional teams within the production environment. They are responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout various production processes conducting inspections implementing quality control procedures and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 years comprehensive CMM experience PCDMIS software and Quality Control.
  • Ability to create CMM Programs using PCDMIS software.
  • Inspection products using CMM in accordance with our quality system procedures.
  • Ability to read blueprint drawings and specifications.
  • Well versed in Geometric Tolerances (GD&T).
  • Proficient at establishing clear complete and precise records of First Article Inspection.
  • Perform inspection of precision parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications (using tools such as calipers micrometers height gauges shadowgraph hardness tester plug gauges pin gauges)
  • New Part Validation PPAP & Revalidation.
  • CNC machining process experience.
  • Document/discuss unacceptable or nonconforming materials with internal and external parties and take corrective action.
  • Internal auditing of control plans and process conformance.
  • Participate in Problem Solving & Resolution Kaizen events & 5S initiatives.
  • ISO 9001:2015 experience.
  • Adequate working knowledge of ANSI ASME and ASTM standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
  • Assist the Quality Manager/Supervisor in Projects and all other duties as assigned.

This position will require working in a team environment with machinists inspectors engineers supervisors and managers to reduce cost and leadtime by establishing CMM programs that will decrease inspection time and provide accurate measurement results as feedback during the first article process AQL inspection and support of lean manufacturing.

Salary: $29 35/hr
