Australian Accounting and Taxation Specialist
We seek a highly motivated skilled and experienced Australian Accounting and Taxation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team you will be responsible for providing expert accounting and taxation services to our clients based in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to get the required information and respond to queries
- Maintain client database and work management using tools and software
- Prepare individual company and trust tax returns with precision and within deadlines
- Prepare FBT BAS and GST submissions
- Prepare financial reports and support audit processes as required
- Execute monthend and yearend adjustments including accrued interest provision of expenses accrued income prepaid expenses and deferred income
- Prepare financial statements and reports for SMSFs by relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client services
- Proficiently use accounting software such as QBO XERO BGL 360 and MYOB
Ideal Candidate:
- High work ethics integrity longterm vision and professionalism
- Qualified CA with 13 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (MYOB QuickBooks Xero)
- Indepth understanding of accounting bookkeeping and taxation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel keen to learn and work on a variety of cloudbased software
