Leidos Defense Systems / Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Production Manager to join our Mechanical Manufacturing team. The Production Manager leads people and processes overseeing the daytoday activities of our manufacturing production machine shop Friday Saturday and Sunday 6am6pm.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage day to day activities in a high mix/low volume manufacturing facility.
Identify and implementing process improvements.
Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources.
Ensuring the team is building products that meet the companys quality standards.
Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.
Fostering a safe work environment.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience managing CNC Mills & CNC Lathes in a low rate high mix work environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Proficient in MS office and MRP software.
Applicant must be able to work a fulltime 3days Friday Saturday Sunday 12hours per shift Weekend shift.
Regular attendance is required.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience managing greater than 5 employees.
5 axis machining experience utilizing Siemens Fanac and HAAS controls.
Experience managing machining in a high mix lowrate environment.
Six Sigma Green belt.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89700.00 $162150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
