Job Description
ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All applicants must be professing Christians and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of Abilene Christian University while employed by the university.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher preferably higher in nursing courses
- Sophomore or higher by hours
- Business Major preferred
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills are necessary
- Ability to work effectively with staff and students.
- Tutor will work under supervision of Tutor Coordinator and:
- Work with students in a group tutoring setting
- Must accurately document all tutoring sessions according to tutoring standards
- Maintain communication with staff and students
- Attend training sessions
- Reach CRLA Level 1 certification within the first year of employment
- Hours are flexible and will vary weekly
- Weekday and Weekend options available
- Limited to 20 hours per week
