The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Power Plant Operator to join the team in Everett WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate boilers with responsibility to operate engines and boiler associated auxiliary equipment depending on location
- Read gauges meters and charts to track boiler operations
- Monitor boiler water chemical and fuel levels
- Activate valves to change the amount of water air and fuel in boilers
- Feed boilers using gas feeds or oil pumps inspect and maintain equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently
- Check safety devices and perform environmental checks routinely
- Record data and keep logs of operation maintenance and safety activity
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1 years of experience with Boiler Operations
- City of Seattle Steam Engineers License Grade 2
- Valid state drivers license
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience with Boiler Operations
- City of Seattle Steam Engineers License Grade 1
