Job Description
Job Title: Extruder Operator - Nigeria
Industry: Food Processing / Edible Oil
Location: Sagamu (Ogun)
Job type: Full time
Key Responsibilities:
-
Set up start and operate extruder machinery according to production schedules.
-
Monitor and adjust parameters like temperature pressure and feed rate to maintain product quality.

Load raw materials into the extruder and ensure continuous flow during operations.

Conduct routine inspections of extruded products for consistency and quality.
-
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of extruder equipment.
-
Record production data and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
-
Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols in the production area.
-
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Production or relevant field preferred.
-
5 years of experience operating extruder machines (food plastic feed industries).
-
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to work in shifts and handle physically demanding tasks.

Basic mechanical knowledge and machine handling skills.
-
Physically fit and able to work in a hot processing environment.
