Hi Im Natalie Dusome Founder and CEO of Poppy & Peonies a fun and energetic brand that believes styles and function should coexist. Were passionate about creating practical pieces that help make life a little easier and lighten the load literally.
Building Poppy & Peonies has been a wild adventure. The journey began when my daughter Poppy was born and my accessories no longer worked with my new life as a mom I needed bags with pockets and organization that looked cool and had functionality. I couldnt find it so I decided to create it and in 2015 Poppy & Peonies was born.
Weve come a long way in five years from filling orders in my basement to appearing on Dragons Den and now expanding into new product categories and collaborating with some exciting influencers and brands. Id be lying if I said its been nothing but smooth sailing but thanks to our incredible community weve never felt more loved and supported!
We believe in our responsibility to care for our environment and we are passionate about preserving the health and welfare of our planet and the animals that live on it. All of our bags are made from highquality vegan leather and our entire product line is vegan crueltyfree and PETAapproved. We ship our products plasticfree and we use a combination of recycled compostable and biodegradable materials to mitigate shipping waste and we are constantly looking for new ways to make our products and supply chain more sustainable to reduce our carbon footprint.
About the Role
As our Sr. Creative & Content Manager you are the brands visual storyteller.
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Poppy & Peonies creative vision and content strategy across a variety of platforms including digital social media email marketing and ecommerce. You will be responsible for leading the development of compelling onbrand content that resonates with our target audience while driving engagement awareness and conversions.
We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team someone who will inspire and guide the content team with innovative creative direction. By analyzing content performance and leveraging insights you will continuously refine strategies to enhance engagement and maximize the brands impact across all channels. Ultimately you will ensure that every piece of content is aligned with Poppy & Peonies values and contributes to driving the brand forward in a competitive market.

The Opportunity
- Overseeing and enhancing the brands image and identity across all channels including branding graphic design photo and video content.
- Leading content strategy creative direction and coordination of all brand photo shoots.
- Managing styling props location scouting and logistics to ensure seamless .
- Collaborating with the VP of Marketing to develop campaign pitch decks approval decks and visual direction.
- Partnering with the VP of Marketing to establish and enforce brand guidelines and guardrails.
- Conceptualizing and pitching compelling campaign narratives and visual identities.
- Designing and executing graphic design work as needed for various projects.
- Supervise and mentor the Graphic Designer and Content Coordinator to ensure highquality deliverables.
What You Bring to the Table
- You are a wellrounded creative from the fashion or consumer products space with leadership experience (leading both strategy and people).
- You have a genuine passion for fashion and consumer products with a keen eye for trends and aesthetics.
- You have 5 years of experience in creative direction and content management within a fastpaced environment.
- You have proven experience managing and leading creative teams including graphic designers content creators and other professionals.
- You have a strong background in conceptualizing and executing campaigns across multiple channels (digital print social media etc..
- You have experience in graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop Illustrator InDesign).
- You have a solid understanding of brand development creative direction and visual storytelling.
- You have excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- You have a strong ability to conceptualize creative strategies and effectively communicate ideas.
- You are proficient in content creation including writing editing and overseeing production.
- You are knowledgeable in social media platforms trends and content strategies.
- Youre a collaborative team player who can brainstorm with others.
- Youre flexible and can adapt to changing priorities on the go.
- You are detailoriented with excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.

Location
- This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver Canada and will require travel into our office as well as domestic or international travel for photoshoots events and team retreats.
- At this time we are only considering candidates based in West Coast Canada for this role. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to explore other opportunities with us in the future if youre located outside of this area.
Salary and Total Rewards
- Annual Salary ranges from $120000$130000 CAD
- 3 weeks of paid vacation per year
- 5 additional flex days
- Summer Fridays
- $1500 CAD annual health spending account
- $250 CAD annual period & menstrual budget
- $1000 CAD annualallowance towards Poppy & Peonies product
- $400 CAD home office setup allowance
$120000 $130000 a year
