Knight Testing assists commercial and industrial clients by offering product analysis services. Our capabilities include medical device testing material testing component testing consulting services design and machining and analytical services. We cater our services to each clients unique testing needs. Our experienced technicians test engineers designers and machinists provide assistance to the medical aerospace oil and gas and numerous other industries. As part of the Applied Technical Services family of companies we can offer additional inspection calibration and consulting engineering capabilities when clients need a broader scope of services.
Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to set up and conduct static strength and dynamic fatigue mechanical tests on various medical device components and assemblies
Job Duties
Set up and conduct mechanical tests on various components and assemblies
Prepare and build test specimens and assemblies
Document and communicate test results to responsible test engineer
Monitor tests to ensure accurate and timely results
Perform routine maintenance of lab and support equipment
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications
2 years of handson experience in a R&D or Quality testing environment
Relevant postsecondary certificate or associates degree
Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency
Strong computing skills
Servohydraulic load frame experience preferred
Medical device experience preferred.
Experience using MTS test control software preferred
Experience working within an ISO quality management system preferred
