You are the Certified Peer Recovery Specialist that we are seeking for our Adult and Addiction Services program located in Tippecanoe County Indiana. As a CPRS you will work alongside patients providing peer support services serving as a patient advocate and facilitating nonclinical skills/support groups with the support of a licensed clinician.

This position will be scheduled MF 8a5p and include up to 10 travel to be able to meet with patients in the community for services.
Peer Recovery Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in identifying personal goals for recovery
- Works with clinicians in the development of treatment and discharge plans.
- Provides case management services as identified in the patients treatment plan; coordination of contractual care as needed
- Completes relevant assessments
- Assist patients in recognizing barriers to recovery
- Assist patients in recognizing their personal strengths they build their recovery capital.
- Facilitate nonclinical skills groups
- Assist patients in building social skills and the development of healthy relationships.
- Model different ways someone in recovery uses selfcare.
We are seeking Peer Recovery Specialist Candidates with the following qualities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current sustained period of recovery for at least 2 years with substance use and/or mental health.
- Selfidentified person in recovery from substance use
- Holds current Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) credential from the DMHA.
- Valid drivers license a driving record meeting Meridians driving policy reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required
