THG acquired Acheson & Acheson in 2018 to bring full service product development & cosmetic manufacturing inhouse to supply innovative branded and THG Beauty Brand products to the industry across skincare bodycare haircare suncare and fragrance. About the Product Team at THG Labs
At the core of THG Labs sits the Product Team who act as the central hub orchestrating endtoend product lifecycles managing customer relations and project .
We are responsible for ensuring efficient and seamless partnerships of all crossfunctional teams and tasks to bring a concept idea to finished goods on time on cost and in spec. We represent our customers and brands requirements to drive forward the product brief management product costing & budget management packaging artwork & design system set up and risk management collaborating with R&D Regulatory Buying Design Supply and Production.
Product Development CoOrdinator
This entrylevel role serves as an essential foundation and support function within the Product Team providing valuable exposure to the intricacies of product development and project management and serves as a springboard for those aspiring to pursue a career in Product Management. In this role you will report into a Product Manager.
- Smooth of various administrative tasks critical to both the success of our projects but also the daytoday functioning of the product team.
- Liaising with crossfunctional teams throughout a project timeline.
- Track key milestones on the project critical path and where required set up project critical path with managers support.
- Researches and collates competitor analysis to support product concept proposals.
- Tracks new product launches and key market trends.
- Contributes to the compilation of artwork briefs liaising closely with the design team and circulating relevant documents for approval.
- Prepares component samples for manager to set QC standards.
- Prepares development samples with relevant documentation for the customers approval.
- Attends production runs both internally and externally.
- Contributes to the collation of product costings and budgets.
- Communicates effectively and positively with all teams colleagues and managers.
- Helps to promote a positive working environment.
- Any other duties that may be required.
