Job Description

Job Title:

IT Coordinator

Contract Length:

225 Days

Primary Role:

The ideal candidate will handle basic technical support duties for the TMSA Charter Schools. The Technology Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for a resultsoriented professional to assure the efficiency and effective use of technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in systems engineering and management
  • Information Technology experience: 12 years
  • Public charter school experience plus)

Skills Duties and Responsibilities:

  • System administration experience with Windows Mac OS Chrome OS operating systems and G Suite (Google) applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present and effectively explain technology solutions to staff in nontechnical jargon
  • Knowledge of standard networking equipment and design standards (voice and data)
  • Coordinate and set up audiovisual equipment
  • Manage the storing and redeployment of classroom equipment around extended school breaks (winter spring and summer)
  • Help maintain asset management systems and manage paperwork generated by equipment assignment and recovery
  • Work with vendors to arrange repairs and return repaired equipment to schools
