What You Will Do:

• We have an opportunity for a Final Inspection (FX) Team Member to be based in Columbus GA. (onsite role)
• This is a 1st week shift (Monday Thursday 6:00a4:30p)
• Expected to perform a wide variety of complex inspection procedures and related paperwork develop expertise to resolving inspection process problems setup and operate equipment perform periodic preventive maintenance and maintain all required certifications.
• Training and/or education in Quality processes or its equivalent including on the job training in visual dimensional inspections receiving and final inspections.
• Responsible for signing off product inspected.
• Must perform daily walk around of equipment maintain cleanliness of inspection area and be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Must be able to obtain Final Inspection Certification within designated timeframe as required by Pratt & Whitney qualifications.
• Daily information gathering on parts in Quality cells and helping set expectations based on incoming WIP
• Communicate with other departments and assist in closure of issues which prevent nonconforming material from disposition and prevent material from final inspection
• Identifying nonconformities in process and product explaining those nonconformities and writing detailed descriptions of them for Engineering evaluation

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 1 year of manufacturing experience in quality and/or inspection
