Job Description

Were looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Roseville MI to ensure products meet quality and safety standards. The role involves inspecting materials and finished goods spotting defects working with production to fix issues and documenting results for improvement and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on incoming materials in-process parts and finished products to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Detect and report defects or deviations working closely with production to address issues.
- Develop and update quality control procedures to boost product reliability and efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports for management review.
- Keep current with industry regulations and ensure quality processes comply with standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven background in quality control/assurance within CNC or stamping metal manufacturing.
- Proficient with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Experience preparing FAI reports PPAP documentation and performing gauge calibration.
- Strong math skills and understanding of geometry.
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience for this role.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities to detect and resolve quality issues.
- Effective communicator for teamwork and reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies and adaptability to regulatory changes.
