DCF Support Stabilization Masters Level Clinician - Plymouth Ma

Job Summary

The DCF Support & Stabilization Clinician provides clinical services to children youth and families involved with DCF focusing on crisis intervention traumainformed care and longterm family stabilization. This role involves direct counseling safety planning case management and collaboration with community resources to ensure positive outcomes for children and families.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference in the Lives of Families..

• Provide clinical assessments treatment planning and individual/family therapy for clients referred by DCF.
• Conduct inhome and communitybased interventions to support family stabilization.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies to reduce risks and ensure child safety.
• Collaborate with DCF caseworkers schools medical professionals and other service providers to coordinate care.
• Utilize traumainformed and strengthsbased approaches to address behavioral emotional and relational challenges.
• Document all client interactions progress and treatment plans in accordance with agency and state regulations.
• Advocate for families by connecting them to essential community resources such as housing mental health services and educational support.
• Participate in team meetings case conferences and supervision to ensure quality service delivery.
• Clinician will participate in an oncall rotation at times requiring an inperson response
• Driving is required

Opportunities for Certification in Evidence Based Practices

• Conferred Masters degree in mental health fields such as Marriage and Family Therapy Social Work Mental Health Counseling Counseling/Clinical Psychology etc. with plan to obtain license (i.e. LMFT LICSW and LMHC).
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in child and family treatment (assessment treatment planning outcome measurement)
• Knowledge of DCF regulations child welfare systems and family stabilization strategies.
• Experience with traumainformed care crisis intervention and behavioral health treatment.
• Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing is preferred
