We are seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a reputable independent garage based in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled individual who is confident working across all makes and models and has a strong background in both traditional and electric vehicle servicing.

About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and servicing a wide variety of vehicles. You will also be expected to support and lead junior technicians providing guidance and mentoring to help them develop their skills. Experience with electric vehicles is essential as the workshop handles both conventional and EV repairs.
Your ability to work independently uphold highquality standards and communicate effectively with the wider team will be key to your success.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Rotational Saturdays (details provided during the interview)
Overtime opportunities available
Annual performancebased bonus
Key Duties:
Diagnose service and repair vehicles of all makes and models
Perform maintenance and repair work on electric and hybrid vehicles
Lead supervise and mentor junior team members
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and efficient workspace
Communicate effectively with the service team and management
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician within the UK
UK Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
EV qualification and handson experience with electric vehicles
Proven ability to lead and support a team
Full UK driving licence with a clean record
Own set of tools
Strong diagnostic and faultfinding abilities
Professional attitude and commitment to high standards of workmanship
