Job Description
Your role: We are looking for a highly driven and engaged Medical Advisor/Specialist Neurology to join our team. Join our innovative and transformational Medical Affairs team and take an active part into the future of our Dutch organization. This is an exciting time to focus on Neurology within our organization. In alignment with our Medical Director working alongside 2 Medical Science Liaisons you provide medical expertise to ensure the proper development of new products and the optimal positioning and promotion of existing products by closing the gap between innovation and improved patientcare. You drive and support the global therapeutic area strategy and are able to transform this into local strategy and tactics. You will be an active coleader of the Business Unit strategy and work cross functionally within a brand team organization. In this role you communicate trends and innovations identified in the market during interactions with Key Thought Leaders to Medical Affairs and Commercial colleagues. Building key thought leader relationships you serve as scientific information source and partner. You will also have internal line management responsibilitiestrain external speakers organize scientific events including advisory boards facilitate continuous medical education involve KTLs in Phase III & IV clinical trials and collaborate with them on Investigator Sponsored trials. You will ensure that appropriate patient support services are established. You will develop contacts and interact within the company Local Regional and Global Medical Teams.
Who you are
- You have a medical/scientific background (e.g. PhD Pharm D MSc or MD)
- You ideally gained 3 years experience within Medical Affairs
- Yougained Neurology (ideally Multiple Sclerosis) and/or Immunology experience and thereby have knowledge of this market in The Netherlands
- You are open to work with other therapeutic areas
- You are flexible to travel to regularly interact with top external stakeholders
- You have a handson and proactive approach
- You are fluent in Dutch & English
- You possess excellent communication skills
- You enjoy working in crossfunctional teams
