About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a Junior Leasing Agent to join the dynamic leasing team at a portfolio of buildings in Long Island City. The ideal candidate has worked onsite or as a licensed real estate agent in New York City. Communication customer service presentation skills and followup skills are crucial for success in this role. There is a tremendous opportunity for advancement in this role. Salaried plus commissions.

Role and Responsibilities
- Showing available units for rent; giving tours of building and amenities
- Assist prospective residents with the application process
- Collect paperwork for the application process
- Assist Leasing Agents in conducting lease signings and ensure the accuracy of all lease documents
- Track inventory provide reports
- Conduct regular inspections of vacant units and common areas
- Interface with residents to address issues and concerns
- Work collaboratively with other departments
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of leasing experience
- Onsite leasing/sales experience a plus
- Knowledge of Fair Housing practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
- OnSite Yardi Building Link Nestio a plus
- Must be able to work Saturdays or at least one weekend day
Compensation
$50000 base plus commissions; full benefits package
