Job Description

The Teachers for our K7 summer program are responsible for engaging students in learning activities that promote joy and curiosity are handson and project based with attention to building positive connections and relationships. The goal is to balance academics contentenrichment and community recreation (through strategic community partnerships).

Our K2 students will experience a program with a stronger literacy/reading focus than in prior years thanks to our Early Literacy grant. We provide weekly slides for themes academics and activities.

**In addition to classroom teachers we are also looking for ELD Music PE and Special Education teachers to support our programs.**

Contract Dates: July 1 (set up) July 7 July 31 (MTh) and August 1 (close program)

Work Hours: 7 hours per day 8:303:30 (includes 30 minute paid lunch)

Total Paid Hours: up to 126 hours

Rate of Pay: regular (current district employees) OR pending placement on salary schedule (external applicants)

Pay Dates: occur on the 25th of each month for work performed in the month prior (July hours will be paid August 25

Special Requirements: this position requires an active or pending teaching license with appropriate endorsements
