Manufacturing Specialist (Mechanical)
Aversan Inc.www.aversan is a trusted multiservice engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leadingedge and reliable safetycritical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Manufacturing Specialist (Mechanical) to join our Engineering team. The Manufacturing Specialist will provide design support and manufacturing solutions ensuring the stability and standardization of our products while contributing to process improvements.
Location: Montreal QC
Job Type: OnSite
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings for manufacturing.Perform CAD design and drafting using Creo and Microstation.
Provide engineering support to manufacturing teams for fabrication and design challenges.
Identify and implement solutions for complex issues within manufacturing processes.
Recommend and lead continuous improvements in processes products and tools.
Prepare and present technical analysis reports to crossfunctional teams.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and design solutions.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field.5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering support.
Proficiency in Creo 3D CAD) and Microstation 2D drafting).
Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced crossfunctional environment.
