Summary
Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts components subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.Job Description

- Adheres to all safety requirements.

- Assists in maintaining efficient material flow through the work area.

- Gains a basic understanding of material logistics.
- Participates in appropriate training to gain a basic understanding of several of business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow Statistical Process Control Process Documentation Empowerment Six Sigma methods Quality and/or Cost Improvement

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Required Certifications and Training
- Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
Experience Level with Business Tools
- Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
