Job Description
We are looking for an Eligibility Specialist to join our Team!
Position Description:
The Eligibility Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the medical billing within the agency. This includes but is not limited to: speaking with insurance companies prior authorization daily entry of data and insurances eligibilities. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Checking eligibilities on all patients
- Entering new patient information/insurance properly
- Communication with patients regarding billing
- Obtaining authorizations
- Update and maintain patient insurances in the current software
- Navigate insurance websites/maintain user status
- Running weekly reports as directed by supervisor
- Sending out weekly records required by insurance for claims reimbursement
- Responding to emails and performing tasks requested within the context in a timely manner
Education Experience Skills Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
The successful applicant must have atleast one 1 year experience working in a medical office setting with insurance eligibility understanding. Must possess strong communication and computer skills.
