Job Description
DEUTZ is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of innovative drive systems. Its core competences are the development production distribution and servicing of diesel gas and electric drivetrains for professional applications that is used in construction equipment agricultural machinery material handling equipment stationary equipment commercial vehicles rail vehicles and other applications.
Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible Prepares and records asset liability revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying allocating posting and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. Oversees the intercompany reconciliation with parent company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording verifying consolidating and entering transactions.
Prepares and records asset liability revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying allocating posting and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
Prepare financial audit request at interim yearend and during midyear review.
Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves assets and expenditures
Document and monitor internal controls
Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
Cross train in Accountant and Accounting Manager duties
Performs other as assigned.

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 010 depending on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment. Subject to noise dust diesel fuel oil and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.
