Job Description

Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington is looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team in maintaining campus buildings grounds and vehicles. This position involves supporting event setups handling work orders assisting with construction projects and ensuring cleanliness across the campus. The ideal candidate will assist with general maintenance including plumbing HVAC and electrical work as well as performing other duties as assigned. Apply today to be a part of our dynamic team!

Hourly Rate: $15.75

Rolling interviews will occur until the position is filled.

BASIC FUNCTION AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Position of responsible for the participation in maintenance work orders event setups cleaning the buildings vehicles and grounds of the campus and all duties assigned.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in maintenance of all buildings and grounds of the campus including but not limited to electrical plumbing HVAC systems and vehicles.

Participate and provide service in response to work requests such as event setups office moves and rearranging furniture.

Assist in loading/unloading and deliver equipment and supplies Assist in construction projects to include drywall painting and flooring etc. Other duties as assigned.

DESIRABLE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma preferred. Experience in the areas of electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry and motorized equipment preferred. Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations preferred.
