Jesuit Dallas Visual ArtTeacher
Jesuit Dallas is seeking a qualified and passionate educator to teach high school artin a Catholic allmale setting. This teacher will be expected to:
- Form and educate young men to be open to growth intellectually competent loving religious committed to working for justice and physically fit.
- Teach in cooperation with course level teams five sections of visual artor the equivalent.
- Collaborate with members of the Fine Arts Department in ongoing curriculum development and review.
- Participate in all departmental and schoolwide faculty formation.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Participate in studentcentered cocurricular extracurricular service and/or retreat opportunities.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Studio ArtDesign Art Education or related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in photography anddigital art.
- Ability to moderate yearbook preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Works in a fastpaced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges deadlines and a diverse array of contacts.
- May work at a desk and computer for an extended period of time.
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
