Company Overview:A wellestablished law firm in Rochester is seeking a talented and motivated Private Client Solicitor with 2 years of postqualification experience (PQE) to join their dedicated team. The firm has a longstanding reputation for delivering highquality legal services and providing exceptional client care. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of private client matters including wills probate estate administration trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients ensuring a high standard of service.
- Draft and review legal documents including wills and trust deeds.
- Liaise with clients beneficiaries and other professionals maintaining strong client relationships.
- Handle matters with sensitivity and professionalism particularly when dealing with bereavement and endoflife planning.
- Keep uptodate with changes in legislation and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the firms business development activities including networking and marketing efforts.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years PQE in private client law.
- Strong technical knowledge of wills probate estate planning and related areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and understandable manner.
- A proactive and clientfocused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude particularly when dealing with sensitive issues.
- Experience with business development and the ability to contribute to the growth of the firms client base is desirable.
