Job Description

Summary
This role will work as a floater in our office training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Case Manager position.
Compensation for this role starts at $20 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Shadow Case Managers
- Order medical records from providers
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carries
- Investigate the nature and facts of cases
- Learn to negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers
- Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant Insurance Adjuster or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask prioritize and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including good presentation skills
- Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization
- Extensive expertise in computer programs databases Microsoft Office Suite and type no less than 35 wpm
