Job Description
- Oversee daily transport and logistics operations to ensure efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Manage and optimize fleet operations including scheduling maintenance and driver performance.
- Ensure compliance with logistics regulations health & safety standards and company policies.
- Implement and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets cost control and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination between logistics sales and customer service.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Lead train and motivate the operations team to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in an Operations Manager role within the road logistics industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fleet management transport regulations and route planning.
- Skills: Excellent leadership problemsolving and organizational abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with logistics software and tracking systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Qualifications: A relevant Degree/Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain or Business Management will be an advantage.
