Bachelors Degree is required

General OverviewIncumbent will report to the Partners eCare Enterprise PMO Director. As part of the Partners eCare initiative to develop and implement an integrated electronic health information system at all institutions across the Partners HealthCare network this positions work responsibilities include managing daytoday activities for cutover planning and event at multiple entity sites; management of small to medium projects and/or subprojects; and support the leadership and project teams associated with these projects. In addition complete assignments as part of the Program Management Office. The position includes regular interaction with Senior and Mid Level Management as well as staff within Partners eCare program.
Job DescriptionThe Cutover Manager manages all aspects of cutover and golive support planning and including detailed consolidated work plan executing dryruns command center logistics and postlive enduser issue triage support strategy.
S/he manages the completion of the projects and will perform a variety of tasks including preparing documents arranging meetings setting deadlines assigning responsibilities and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project. The Cutover Manager may be responsible for more than one project at a time related to the Partners eCare program which will require some of the following responsibilities:
Coordinates planning and logistics of activities related to cutover event planning and at multiple entity sites
Works with Epic and with the Application Teams to guide the development and of cutover approach work plans at the resource and task level
Coordinates with client teams 30 to develop compile and refine detailed cutover work plans ensuring task level detail
Coordinates with other application and Project integration team leaders as required to ensure activities of one team do not adversely impact activities of another team
Prepares attends and leads individual team and crossteam work plan meetings and tracks status
Accountable for communicating activities and timelines within and across teams
Organizes and presents cutover approach updates and status to key internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership
Develops dryrun and golive strategy including event planning and strategy
Organizes dryrun event planning and activities
Works with the Application Teams and the Enterprise PMO Director to drive Command Center planning and
Develops communication and escalation plan for cutover status communication; conduct status calls and other communication during dryrun and golive events
Drives Golive cutover event planning activities
Drives Post golive event planning and activities if needed
Develops staffing plan with project and entity resources for dryruns and golive events
Manages the cutover consultant & analysts to maintain status of integrated Cutover Plan during pre cutover and post golive
Updates weekly cutover dashboard including progress critical issues and planned activities
Ensures tasks completion time and reports status to Enterprise PMO Director
Schedules and chairs team meetings to discuss team and project related activities issues changes and communication
Identifies and communicates to the Enterprise PMO Director any issues/problems/delays that may adversely impact the project
Ensures quality of deliverables
Ensures project team decisions are made in a timely fashion

Detailed Job Description
The Cutover Manager runs project(s) and develops associated materials to drive project(s) to completion. .
Planning and problemsolving
Responsible for planning the project in order to accomplish its goals and/or produce the products required within certain constraints such as time cost and agreed project goals and objectives.
Continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the plan
Anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule and keep all participants and stakeholders informed.
Identify and escalate potential and actual issues and risks suggesting corrective action to project leadership.
Communication
Articulate the project goals communicate effectively in group one on one meetings to help teams to drive to decisions
Must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication and be able to get ideas across in a nonconfrontational manner
Team Coordination
May work directly with the team members or with their team leaders to estimate effort plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks.
Create spreadsheets analysis or other appropriate tools to assist the team or initiatives to completion
May need to be experienced in providing a team with direction and vision including motivating people to perform listening providing feedback recognizing strengths and providing challenges.
Organizational Tasks & Documentation
Will generate many types of documents including current state future state data analysis

Processes changes via established change control process
Monitors internal and external factors throughout project plan. Evaluates impact of risks or changes on project plan.
Alerts Cutover Lead/Manager of any risks jeopardizing the of the project. Participates in the analysis of risks and develops recommendations for mitigation of risks
