This position is inperson onsite in the Cheektowaga/WNY area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT department fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the organizations goals and objectives.
- Communicate technology strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure including networks servers and cloud solutions ensuring high availability and security.
- Ensure data integrity security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency.
- Direct the planning and of IT projects ensuring they are completed on time within scope and budget.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement technology solutions that improve business processes.
- Coach lead and provide developmental opportunities to the department maintaining a welltrained motivated and professional staff.
- Manage the IT budget controlling expenditures while maintaining high service standards and identify costeffective solutions and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies procedures and controls to safeguard the organizations data.
- Lead incident response efforts and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Recruit mentor and develop the IT team promoting skill growth and career advancement.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in IT leadership roles with proven experience in strategic IT planning implementation and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SQL experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure cybersecurity enterprise systems and cloud solutions.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing budgets and financial planning for technology initiatives.
- Some travel is required
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
