Elementary School Special Education Compliance and Billing Analyst
Bronx New York

Seton Education Partners seeks a missiondriven detailoriented leader to serve as the Elementary School Special Education Compliance and Billing Analyst for the Brilla Public Charter Schools Network. This position reports directly to the Elementary School Director of Student Services and is based in the Bronx NY.

About the Brilla Schools Network

Brilla Public Charter Schools is a network of K8th grade schools that currently serves nearly 1600 students from Mott Haven University Heights and Highbridge in the Bronx. The network plans to grow from a current four elementary and two middle schools to four elementary and four middle schools educating some 4000 students in the Bronx. About El Camino Network

El Camino which means The Way in Spanish is an optional privatelyfunded Catholic afterschool faith formation program that is closely partnered with Brilla charter schools. El Camino helps children their families and their catechists to know love and serve Christ and His Church; develop the habits dispositions and beliefs that are indispensable to human flourishing and happiness; and live as disciples in this world and saints in the next. El Camino honors the teaching authority of the Catholic Church. Since 2013 over 260 children have been baptized through our program.

El Camino currently serves approximately 40 of Brillas students for 90 minutes a day Monday through Thursday. Children receive homework help from experienced teachers a nutritious snack and 30 minutes each of catechism and physical fitness. Additionally children and families have opportunities for shared and personal prayer and character formation. This video provides a snapshot of El Camino. El Camino will grow to serve children through 8th grade growing a grade level at a time each year.

About the job of Elementary School SPED Compliance and Billing Analyst

This role is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of compliance and programmatic integrity in services for students with disabilities across Brillas K8 schools. The Special Education Compliance and Billing Analyst ensures the accurate and timely submission of special education billing and compliance reports while developing datadriven systems to support student services. This role requires meticulous attention to detail strong organizational skills and collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to ensure compliance with the NYC Department of Education (NYC DOE) and New York State (NYS) reporting requirements. The Special Education (SPED) compliance and Billing analyst is the foundation of the network Student Services Team which builds compliance and data systems that allow seamless communication between our Brilla campuses and the Network Team. The analyst directly supports campuses by monitoring the case management process for initials annual and reevaluation IEP meetings. Another key responsibility is to support the Elementary Schools Director of Student Services by recruiting related services professionals through partnership with the Committee on Special Education to provide mandated services to Students with Disabilities. The Analyst develops and maintains data systems that track the academic outcomes of students with disabilities aligned with our assessment cycles. This role works closely with the campus Student Services teams and provides compliance systems training as requested. This role is ideal for a detailoriented professional passionate about ensuring compliance and improving outcomes for students with disabilities.

The base salary range for this position is $65000 to $85000 per year along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical financial and other benefits. New hires will typically start at the lower end of this range depending on their relevant experience jobrelated knowledge skills and internal equity considerations. Compensation is determined based on our salary scales.
