Seton Education Partners seeks a missiondriven detailoriented leader to serve as the Elementary School Special Education Compliance and Billing Analyst for the Brilla Public Charter Schools Network. This position reports directly to the Elementary School Director of Student Services and is based in the Bronx NY.

About the Brilla Schools Network
Brilla Public Charter Schools is a network of K8th grade schools that currently serves nearly 1600 students from Mott Haven University Heights and Highbridge in the Bronx. The network plans to grow from a current four elementary and two middle schools to four elementary and four middle schools educating some 4000 students in the Bronx. About El Camino Network
El Camino which means The Way in Spanish is an optional privatelyfunded Catholic afterschool faith formation program that is closely partnered with Brilla charter schools. El Camino helps children their families and their catechists to know love and serve Christ and His Church; develop the habits dispositions and beliefs that are indispensable to human flourishing and happiness; and live as disciples in this world and saints in the next. El Camino honors the teaching authority of the Catholic Church. Since 2013 over 260 children have been baptized through our program.
El Camino currently serves approximately 40 of Brillas students for 90 minutes a day Monday through Thursday. Children receive homework help from experienced teachers a nutritious snack and 30 minutes each of catechism and physical fitness. Additionally children and families have opportunities for shared and personal prayer and character formation. This video provides a snapshot of El Camino. About the job of Elementary School SPED Compliance and Billing Analyst
This role is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of compliance and programmatic integrity in services for students with disabilities across Brillas K8 schools. The Special Education Compliance and Billing Analyst ensures the accurate and timely submission of special education billing and compliance reports while developing datadriven systems to support student services. This role requires meticulous attention to detail strong organizational skills and collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to ensure compliance with the NYC Department of Education (NYC DOE) and New York State (NYS) reporting requirements. The Special Education (SPED) compliance and Billing analyst is the foundation of the network Student Services Team which builds compliance and data systems that allow seamless communication between our Brilla campuses and the Network Team. The analyst directly supports campuses by monitoring the case management process for initials annual and reevaluation IEP meetings. Another key responsibility is to support the Elementary Schools Director of Student Services by recruiting related services professionals through partnership with the Committee on Special Education to provide mandated services to Students with Disabilities. The Analyst develops and maintains data systems that track the academic outcomes of students with disabilities aligned with our assessment cycles. This role works closely with the campus Student Services teams and provides compliance systems training as requested. This role is ideal for a detailoriented professional passionate about ensuring compliance and improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Submit bimonthly special education billing claims to the NYC DOE by verifying the accurate implementation of IEP services at elementary campuses
- Monitor and support the IEP case management process for initials annuals and reevaluations at K4 schools ensuring meetings are held and documented on time
- Prepare and submit monthly ATS verification reports in collaboration with the Data Team ensuring elementary schools are fully compliant with NYC DOE and NYSED reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain systems to track service mandates provider assignments and student encounter attendance for all students with disabilities in elementary grades
- Collaborate with the Committee on Special Education to support the recruitment onboarding and credential tracking of related service providers (e.g. Speech OT PT) serving elementary students
- Ensure that all new elementary Student Services staff have access to SESIS internal compliance tools and shared network folders aligned to Brilla protocols
- Create data dashboards and tools to track academic progress of students with disabilities at the elementary level using assessment data such as NWEA Amplify and interim results
- Conduct monthly audits of service implementation data and provide feedback to campusbased Student Services Coordinators to improve accuracy and fidelity
- Provide targeted compliance training and systems support to K4 Student Services teams updating them on regulatory changes and best practices for documentation and service delivery
- Support the Director of Student Services by identifying areas for improvement in compliance systems and contributing to the continuous development of networkwide special education practices

- Strong data analysis skills with experience using student performance data to drive programmatic improvements.
- Experience with billing and compliance audits for special education services.
- Masters degree in Special Education or Educational Leadership (or equivalent experience).
The ideal candidate will bring experience skills and beliefs in the following areas:
- Experience with special education compliance billing or data management in an educational setting
- Knowledge of NYC DOE special education policies ATS and billing reimbursement processes.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel Google Sheets and student information systems).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school leaders data teams and service providers.
- Strong problemsolving and project management skills.
- Experience working with students with disabilities or in special education administration.
- Familiarity with special education case management systems and IEP tracking software.
- Understanding of state and federal special education funding regulations.
- Ability to travel approximately 1020 of the time primarily within the US

The base salary range for this position is $65000 to $85000 per year along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical financial and other benefits. New hires will typically start at the lower end of this range depending on their relevant experience jobrelated knowledge skills and internal equity considerations. Compensation is determined based on our salary scales.
