Job Opening
The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing a contract supporting theArmy Contracting Command Project Manager Positioning Navigation and Timing (PM PNT). We are looking for a Senior Technician toprovide Electronics Systems Maintenance within the PM PNT at Aberdeen Proving Ground MD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as highly experienced technician capable of resolving complex system failures developing preventive maintenance programs training less experienced technicians identifying systemic failures and conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering.
  • Manages deliberate program of developing junior technicians.
  • Provides oversight to ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment etc. is regularly calibrated and maintained by all field sites Troubleshoots and repairs systems performs software updates.
  • Install modify wire fabricate and maintain systems.
  • Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multivendor systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university Professional certification.
  • Experience: 10 years total experience with the testing of electronic equipment. Eight years experience in the testing and trouble shooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems.
  • Security Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance.
