Overview
Here at Stonbury we are recruiting for Site Operatives based in Market Drayton / Shropshire.
14.38 per hour with opportunities for price work
We are a direct delivery specialist contractor to both the water industry and wider water environment. We currently hold 30 frameworks and we work with most of the UKs water companies and the Environment Agency.
What youll be doing
Travel and overnighters will be part of the job.
You will:
Assist with the preparation of sites including unloading and storing of building materials and plant
Store handle use and dispose of materials in the correct manner
Perform physical tasks such as basic timber shuttering drainage and kerb laying material mixing and application
Operate heavy machinery in conjunction with CPCS training e.g. diggers/dumpers/compressors
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment including wearing full PPE at all times
Follow the Company Safety Handbook and all other safety instructions
Follow all training and reasonable instructions given
Who were looking for
Experience of working onsite in a labourer capacity.
Be selfmotivated and have the ability to complete daily tasks with minimum supervision.
Ability to work at heights safely following relevant training.
Ability to follow instructions and accept personal responsibility.
Ability to lift carry and push equipment.
Ability to act on initiative particularly in respect to Health & Safety and reporting relevant matters.
Demonstrate good driving skills in company vans where driving will be monitored and tracked.
Willingness to attend training courses as and when required.
Willingness to travel and work away from home as and when required.
