Our client is a company that is expanding greatly in the energy market and is one of the largest methanol producers in the world. They work on EPC projects in various parts of the world.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the assembly and installation of structural components and equipment.
- Verify that all required materials are procured delivered on time and meet the technical specifications of the project.
- Organize activities assign resources effectively and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractor teams ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Inspect the quality of workmanship and materials used throughout the construction phase.
- Perform regular site checks to confirm compliance with engineering drawings and applicable standards.
- Interpret technical documentation to guide on-site activities.
- Direct the correct positioning alignment and secure assembly of steel structures and equipment.
- Implement safety measures to prevent incidents and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable legislation and industry codes.
- Keep informed about updates to technical standards and recommended practices.
- Maintain open communication with the Site Manager and stakeholders.
- Provide clear and timely updates on progress challenges and implemented solutions.
- Prepare structured reports on the status of works including progress tracking and any deviations.
- Maintain detailed records of resources used including manpower equipment and materials.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational issues during installation.
- Apply corrective actions to maintain project progress in line with agreed schedules.
- Adapt planning to address unforeseen circumstances.
- Remain flexible and responsive to changing project priorities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in industrial facilities (preferably in Power Oil & Gas Refining or Petrochemical sectors).
- Proven knowledge of FRP materials and practical experience with the erection of Cooling Towers using FRP cells (mandatory).
- Fluency in Spanish or English.
- Good command of MS Office tools (Word Excel Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Solid ability to prepare concise technical and progress reports.
- Demonstrated competence in managing and supervising on-site construction teams.
