The ability to structure research to address business questions and be able to work closely with business unit leaders to ensure research aligns with business planning.
A masters degree preferably in health sciences statistics marketing market research social sciences or a related field; includes MBA/MPA/MHA; demonstrated interest in healthcare is a plus.
510 years relevant handson experience with questionnaire design statistical analysis of data and creation of presentations with health care marketing research experience a plus.
Experience with online survey research platforms (e.g. Qualtrics) and online panels.
Practical and indepth knowledge of a wide range of marketing research and statistical methodologies such as conjoint analysis and factor analysis.
Experience in moderating focus groups and conducting in depth interviews.
Advanced skills in multiple computer programs such as SAS SPSS SQL Excel PowerPoint Access Tableau and other business related software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to synthesize multiple pieces of information and complex ideas into coherent recommendations and actionable solutions.

General Overview
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy develop and drive Partners primary research agenda. Support marketing and strategic planning initiatives of Partners Healthcare and its member institutions by deepening the companys understanding of its stakeholders and their needs and test new concepts for the purpose of developing winning business strategies and tactics. Act as a key resource for a wide variety of constituents across Partners HealthCare including corporate business leaders community hospital marketing heads and Neighborhood Health Plan marketers and planners.
Primary Responsibilities
Conceptualize research studies to address insights required for decision making related to consumers clinicians employers health insurance members etc.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors on elements of the research process.
Consider and synthesize market intelligence in research design insight development strategic recommendations.
Recommend research techniques appropriate to studies and design questionnaires and discussion guides; develop sample plans analytical plans and data collection strategies. Ensure data collection / field work proceeds smoothly.
Perform statistical analyses document outcomes prepare reports and present results with the goal of influencing actionable recommendations for multiple levels of management.
Learn and utilize an online marketing research platform (i.e. Qualtrics) to manage efficiently all phases of research including design analysis and reporting.
Identity and manage useful syndicated research tools industry tracking studies and internal resources to complement ongoing research.
Develop a reference library of key findings that can be accessed and shared throughout the organization via the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
When appropriate direct vendors of quantitative and qualitative market research studies to complement inhouse activities and collaborate on everything from survey design to report development.
Craft RFPs as needed and participate in vendor selection process including contracting. Manage vendor relationships.
Engage in other activities to facilitate ongoing primary research including facilitating online and offline focus groups
