Community Leadership Academy one of Colorados highperforming elementary schools is seeking a dedicated Elementary Music Teacher to lead our K5 music program. If youre passionate about helping children grow through music appreciation performance and knowledge this is your stage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $56000$65000 (based on experience)
- $2000 signon bonus
- 7 paid personal days annually

Your DaytoDay As our Elementary Music Teacher youll:
- Teach general music classes for students in grades K5 using a variety of musical activities such as singing movement instrument playing and listening
- Inspire students to enjoy appreciate and perform music through engaging ageappropriate instruction
- Develop and implement a balanced music curriculum including music appreciation harmony rhythm and exploration
- Provide individual and small group support to adapt instruction to the needs of each student
- Use traditional and contemporary music literature to enhance student learning
- Maintain and care for all music instruments equipment and materials
- Evaluate student growth performance and contributions to group performances
- Maintain lesson plans gradebooks and regular assessments
- Attend meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Lead or support school music performances and enrichment events

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree (required)
- One of the following in elementary education:
- Colorado teaching license or endorsement
- 36 credit hours in content
- Passing score on approved Praxis exams
- Strong knowledge of elementary music instruction
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Prior experience teaching or working with children strongly preferred
