General Summary/Overview:
The Manager Physician Recruitment position is part of a newly created and collaborative initiative to develop lead and support Physician Recruitment across the Partners Healthcare System physician organizations.
This position which requires demonstrated and high level experience in physician recruitment is a role for PCPO which will shape and ultimately implement the local practice strategy to recruit physicians of many specialties initially focusing on primary care physicians to staff the growing number of primary care sites across the Partners network. Strategic efforts will begin with Newton Wellesley Hospital (NWH) and its employed ambulatory practices.
This role will engage in a matrix relationship with a primary report to the Vice President of Human Resources for PCPO but working closely with other physician practices and Regional Service Organizations throughout the system as appropriate. This role will be asked to develop a physician recruitment strategy for other Partners institutions but the initial focus will be primary care physician recruitment at NW ambulatory practices.
This position will be closely aligned and integrated with the Network Development function which is emerging as a new function.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with entity leadership Physician leaders and hiring managers on effective strategic and tactical recruitment plans designed to meet business objectives.
Develop and deliver an effective recruitment plan to attract and retain qualified and highcaliber candidates.
